Sanrio Introduces Men's Line of Hello Kitty Products

Sanrio's Hello Kitty Men Project: "Sorry, to Keep You Waiting Boys!"


Hello Kitty has been known to be a product only for women.  Because of this stereotype, Sanrio is now trying to make Hello Kitty appeal to men with their project Hello Kitty Men. This project will start next year, and right now there is little information on this project. Their first phase is to launch an exhibit at a department store, Hankyu's Men's Tokyo, where they will feature the Hello Kitty items on men's t-shirts. This event will start on September 10-16th. I wonder if this project will be successful. Hello Kitty already has a stigma for girls, and it will be hard to make men wear Hello Kitty. However, I am eager to see what they have in store. Maybe, I could finally persuade my husband to wear Hello Kitty. I do like Hello Kitty's tagline, "Sorry, to keep you waiting boys!"What do you think of Sanrio's project? My Opening of McDonald's Hello Kitty X Godzilla Happy Meal!

     In my last post I mentioned that I was on my way to McDonald's to get their Hello Kitty X Godzilla happy meal! I have just bought it! I have just opened the happy meal to see which Hello Kitty toy I got! It turns out that I have Keroppi King Ghidorah! I am so excited about this happy meal! I will be collecting the Hello Kitty X Godzilla toy figures! Hopefully, I will get the Hello Kitty Godzilla toy next time! What do you think about this collaboration? Hello Kitty Is Not a Cat!

Hello Kitty Will Not Meow Because She Is Not A Cat! Sanrio has officially stated that Hello Kitty is not a cat. Instead she is a little girl (a British human girl), a friend, and a cartoon character. To be honest, I'm confused and upset. I don't buy that Hello Kitty is not a cat. She looks like a cat, and her name is Kitty White. Why call her Hello Kitty if she is not a cat? They didn't name her Hello Little British Girl. Yes, she walks on two legs, but I'm sure that she could easily walk on  all four legs. Not to mention all her other friends in her world are animals. I am very shocked by this news because most of my life, I've always believed that she was a cat. Why couldn't Sanrio let her be a cat? None of this makes sense! I guess they are trying to cover up the mistake of Hello Kitty's pet cat, Chammy Kitty. What is your opinion of Hello Kitty not being a cat? I would love to hear your comments below.
