Sanrio's Hello Kitty Men Project: "Sorry, to Keep You Waiting Boys!" Hello Kitty has been known to be a product only for women.  Because of this stereotype, Sanrio is now trying to make Hello Kitty appeal to men with their project Hello Kitty Men. This project will start next year, and right now there is little information on this project. Their first phase is to launch an exhibit at a department store, Hankyu's Men's Tokyo, where they will feature the Hello Kitty items on men's t-shirts. This event will start on September 10-16th. I wonder if this project will be successful. Hello Kitty already has a stigma for girls, and it will be hard to make men wear Hello Kitty. However, I am eager to see what they have in store. Maybe, I could finally persuade my husband to wear Hello Kitty. I do like Hello Kitty's tagline, "Sorry, to keep you waiting boys!"What do you think of Sanrio's project? Eva Air's Hello Kitty Plane will on October 27th discontiune thier flight for Los Angeles. They will still continue their Hello Kitty themes planes between Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Guam, just not to America. I'm very disappointed about this. I have been reading bad news about Hello Kitty already. First, Hello Kitty is not a cat, and now there will be no more Hello Kitty themed planes to America. I really hope that Eva Air will change their mind. Please, Eva Air do so! There are a lot of Hello Kitty fans in the U.S! More importantly, I hope Sanrio also changes their mind about Hello Kitty not being a cat. Is Sanrio smoking crack nowdays!? They really need to clean up their mess about Hello Kitty instead of making preposterous claims! Happy Hello Kitty Reading! :)

Hello Kitty Will Not Meow Because She Is Not A Cat! Sanrio has officially stated that Hello Kitty is not a cat. Instead she is a little girl (a British human girl), a friend, and a cartoon character. To be honest, I'm confused and upset. I don't buy that Hello Kitty is not a cat. She looks like a cat, and her name is Kitty White. Why call her Hello Kitty if she is not a cat? They didn't name her Hello Little British Girl. Yes, she walks on two legs, but I'm sure that she could easily walk on  all four legs. Not to mention all her other friends in her world are animals. I am very shocked by this news because most of my life, I've always believed that she was a cat. Why couldn't Sanrio let her be a cat? None of this makes sense! I guess they are trying to cover up the mistake of Hello Kitty's pet cat, Chammy Kitty. What is your opinion of Hello Kitty not being a cat? I would love to hear your comments below. Because Hello Kitty is turning 40, she will be celebrating her birthday bash with 15,000 friends on a Hello Kitty Run in Singapore. The run will cover five-kilometers route around famous Singapore landmarks. Participants is for all ages, and at the end of the run they will receive a Hello Kitty t-shirt and a Hello Kitty plush toy. There will also be a Hello Kitty birthday cake, and fans can sing "Happy Birthday to Hello Kitty." However, registration for this event is now closed for when pre-registration was first opened, 15,000 slots for the Hello Kitty run was filled within 24 hours. So don't be discouraged. Hello Kitty is not only a tourism ambassador in Japan, she is also a spokesperson in space! Hello Kitty is now part of a space mission that is funded through the Japanese science and education ministry. This is because they want to get future generations interested in space. They have launched a Hello Kitty satellite and Hello Kitty has been transmitting messages back to us on Earth! You can now send a message to Hello Kitty from space by clicking on Sanrio's campaign: " Let's Send a Message From Space ." Fans can submit their messages from space till August 25th with a maximization of 180 characters in either Japanese or English. On the day of August 26th through September 8th there will be one message a day that will be broadcast. This is so cute! This game is created for Hello Kitty to bring happiness to people all over the globe with this simple puzzle action game. In this game, you can earn coins by helping Hello Kitty launch water droplets to target seeds so they can bloom. With the coins, you can buy accessories and outfits to help dress up Hello Kitty. I just heard the incredible news! There is going to be a Hello Kitty Convention in LA. this fall! This is to celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary. It is going to be held at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA from October 30 to November 2nd. The tickets are $30 for adults ages 13 and over. Twenty dollars for children between the ages 6 and 12. Children under five have free admission. You can find information about the events of the Hello Kitty convention here . This is so exciting! I may go to the convention. It sounds so much fun! I saw some cool Hello Kitty gadgets for an awesome Hello Kitty geek! I think they are so cute! I am a geek, and I geek Hello Kitty! This is a cute Hello Kitty laptop! I would so buy it!  This is a Hello Kitty digital camera. I have a similar item like this in my home. This is a Hello Kitty Xbox 360. Unfortunately right now, I have a Playstation 3. But I would so love to trade in my Playstation 3 for a Hello Kitty Xbox 360! This is an HTC Hello Kitty smartphone. I would love to get it because it is Hello Kitty! Fall in Eyez, a Japanese contact lens company,  has created Hello Kitty color contact lens. It is in violet color with the design of a bunch of Hello Kitties with flowers and hearts. Hello Kitty is going bald to support children with cancer. This is a campaign created in Brazil that has pictures of popular icons with bald heads. This is to inspire these kids with cancer and to awareness to the public for the stigma these young cancer victims feel. I think is a great idea. and I'm proud of them for doing this. In Tapei, there is a Hello Kitty restaurant called Hello Kitty Kitchen and Dining. It is like a dream come true. The dishes, the walls, floors, ceilings, napkins, mug, dishes, and even staff uniforms have Hello Kitty's face on it. There is even a Hello Kitty lamp. They also have spaghetti, burger buns, and pizza that also has a Hello Kitty design on it.  Also, they have a Hello Kitty-shaped pudding. So, when you order one these delicious items, you get to eat the face of Hello Kitty. Hello! I have found some very strange Hello Kitty pictures that I would like to share with you. This must have taken a lot of work to have a Hello Kitty design on a melon. I would so love to eat it! It is very cute, and I must give the artist a high-five! This is the weirdest Hello Kitty design I have ever come across, yet it is very cool. It is Hello Kitty kendo armor. It mixes an ancient Japanese sport with the popular hello kitty icon. I have to give the artists bonus bravos for this idea! This is a very cool hello kitty guitar. My daughter loves to write her own songs and play the guitar. It is too bad that my daughter is not much of a hello kitty fan (I admit it is mostly my fault because I'm obsessed with it) for I would love to get her a hello kitty guitar! I found some cute Hello Kitty pictures. This car is so cute and small! I would like to drive this car.
